For our children, we have a vibrant Sunday School that meets the needs of growing kids both physically and spiritually. Our classes are divided appropriately by age and life skill from Newborns all the way to 5th Grade. We believe Sunday School is a place for children to understand God's Word and to understand the importance of belonging to a family of believers who love and care for one another.
On Wednesday Evenings, our children (5th Grade and Below) participate in AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed). In AWANA, they will be challenged to memorize Scripture, learn about God's Word, enjoy playing with other children, and discover ways to serve others. In AWANA, children will rotate between large group teaching time, small group scripture memory time, and game time. We also have Wednesday Evening Supper, which is free of charge, beginning at 5PM.
The Grove Children's Worship
On Sunday Mornings, during our regular worship service, our children (5th Grade and Below) participate in their own unique worship service that includes music, prayer, giving, sharing, and a special message that helps children come to a deeper understanding of God's Word. Our children's service is modeled closely after our adult worship in order for children to begin learning about the importance of worship the Lord and what the elements of worship are.
One of the best parts of being involved in The Grove Children's Ministry is participating in the Kid's Choir. Our Kid's Choir practices on every other Wednesday of each month at 5PM. You can check our Calendar page to see exact dates of when the Kid's Choir will be practicing. The choir will usually perform at several of our Sunday morning services throughout each month. We would love for you to bring your children to sing praises to God with us!
